Peace? I hope so.

Bye Tommy.

I never really knew you mate, there wasnt enough time. I mean, you didnt really have enough time to learn to walk, never mind get used to seeing a neighbour across the street.

You're free. No more oxygen masks, open heart ops, or weeks spent in hospital with the amazing staff of St Richards, Chichester, or the Paediatric ICU staff at Southampton. I know they're good, they're the reason I still have a son.

I'm so very sorry to see you go, and for your parents, Sarah and Mike, who've fought so hard with you. Tried everything to make life comfortable for you, and to cure your ailments, while still allowing you to live as normal a life as possible.

Bye bye little man. Take care.
